This NaLA Talk discussed internal control and fraud prevention, with some focus on how to avoid Enforcement and False Claims Act exposure. Lorenzo offered strategies for strengthening internal controls, starting with the agent level, through the eligibility process and 497 submissions, and finally during potential investigations by government or third party enforcement.

Marisa Lorenzo is Special Counsel in the Kelley Drye’s Communications and Litigation practice groups.
